The Ohio Association for Infant Mental Health is a not-for-profit organization whose purposes are:

1. To promote and support healthy development and nurturing relationships for all infants.
2. To provide an interdisciplinary infant mental health organization that encourages collaboration.
3. To provide a forum for interaction and study among professionals and others regarding scientific, educational and clinical relationship-based work with infants and their caregivers.
4. To advocate for the application of culturally-sensitive infant mental health principles.
5. To publish educational newsletters, journals or other materials to promote an increased understanding of infant mental health.
